30th Anniversary Exhibition - October 2023 - July 2024
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Braid Society there will be an exhibition of members work at the following venues:

There will be a Try Braiding Day on Sunday 22 October 2023 in The Old School Community Centre, Church View, Bampton, Oxfordshire OX10 2ND
Come and try a range of braiding methods including Kumihiimo, Ply-Split Braiding, Cord making, Inkle weaving and Tablet Weaving with members of the Braid Society.

Local attractions.
Bampton which has been used as a location for the TV and film series Downton Abbey. Maps of buildings used can be bought from the West Ox Arts Gallery for £1 to aid restoration projects.
Nearby is Kelmscott Manor was one of the homes of William Morris. The manor contains furniture and textiles designed by William and May Morris.The Manor is open until 28th October 2023 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets must be booked
Oxford has a large number of attractions including the Ashmolean Museum and the Pitt Rivers Museum
